My deep love of sports comes from my father, who tirelessly attended my games, endured my below-average athleticism and took me to countless college and pro football, basketball and baseball games. As a life-long sports enthusiast, I’ve been blessed with the ability to play the sports I love, buy my kids quality equipment and fan gear, and attend live sporting events with friends and family over five decades.
My family is fortunate. But not everyone can bear the rising cost of sports.
So we created AMFANS, the American Sports Fans Association, for sports fans like you. AMFANS makes sports more affordable for American families, in three ways:
- We find and verify the best discounts on a wide variety of college and pro fan gear, sporting goods and sportswear from trusted brands (and some hidden gems you may not know about), and bring them all together in one convenient place to help you save money.
- We contribute at least 20% of your membership fee directly to the AMFANS Foundation, a non-profit supporting a variety of amazing sports-related charities, especially those that make sports more accessible and enjoyable for families and young athletes.
- Over the longer term, as our strength in numbers grows, we will serve as a powerful advocate for our members to make sports more affordable for everyone, and especially to make live events more affordable for lower-income families.
Sports unite us, build communities, and promote physical and mental health in ways nothing else can. American sports consumers are 180 million strong and have the economic and cultural power to create meaningful change. AMFANS aims to further empower fans and make it easier for everyone to get in the game.
